We’re excited to announce that the 2021 Summer Math Circle sessions will be held online using Zoom, on Sunday afternoons at 2 p.m. There are currently six meetings planned (tentative schedule and topics, subject to change):

July 18 – Polynomials

July 25 – Topics in Plane Geometry

August 1 – 3D Geometry

August 8 – Topics in Combinatorics

August 15 – Advanced Algebra Techniques

August 22 – Number Theory

Each meeting will be 2 hours long, and the meetings will also be recorded and published on YouTube afterwards. This summer, Bill Chen, Richard Yang, and Catherine Xu will be leading the meetings. Please fill out this form to register. The Zoom link will be available before each meeting.

The Online Summer Math Circle is a weekly gathering in the summer for passionate math students who aim to improve their math competition skills and to broaden their knowledge of topics in mathematics.

To get the most out of the curriculum, participants should have a mastery of Algebra I concepts and be familiar with basic geometry concepts. Our curriculum targets students who are going into 8th grade or lower, but everyone is welcome to attend our meetings.
